The Worst News
Even though that Monday started out boring, he soon received terrible news. He learned that the company that employed him was filing for bankruptcy! This left his future in total disarray. He would soon be out of a job even though he still needed to pay the bills. It got harder to breathe as anxiety took over his body. He did not have any savings and had no idea what to do next. There was one thing on his mind, but he always assumed that it would never come to that. Even so, it felt like he no longer had any other choice.

A Nice Dinner
It was not easy for him to accept the fact that he was losing his job. On the last day of work, he consoled himself by buying dinner at a café that he liked. Jake bought a burger and beer. His order did not cost a lot of money since he was using a discount coupon. He tried not to think about the uncertain future as he focused on the TV inside the café. However, what he saw on the screen only made him freeze.
