Arresting The Suspects
As if they could sense that they were in trouble, the diggers put their hands up in the air. It seems like they found no point in running away, so they decided to cooperate instead. Considering this behavior, the police assumed they had been up to no good and followed protocol. After apprehending the suspects, the police officers managed to return inside and take a look at what they were planning to hide. The authorities went back into the house. Of course, this meant that they first had to brave the stench once more.

As they made their way back to the area, they took note of how destroyed the interior of the house was. Everything looked like it was falling apart. There were cobwebs in the windows and ceilings. There was no light. Even though they already had suspects, they still had yet to identify where the foul stench was coming from.
