Some of us picked farmhouse decor without realizing that it may cause the interiors of our houses to appear dated. One of the reasons for this was because there were so few people who lived on farms at the time. It made no difference whether it was a rooster dish or a chicken lamp. If we were going for a more contemporary appearance, the subject would not have been a factor to consider.

When it comes to decorating our houses, we should avoid using artificial plants since visitors will be able to detect that they are false. It would also give the impression that the inside of our homes had a doorway to the 1990s. The artificial plant home décor fad should be consigned to the past and never be seen again in the future.
