The Beatles
The Beatles were more than just a band. They were revolutionary, one of the world’s greatest music acts, not just in the Groovy Era but of all time. They were formed in 1960 and the members were Paul McCartney, Ringo Harrison, John Lennon, and George Harrison. They created a brand new culture and got everyone to join the bandwagon called Beatlemania. They are the best-selling group in the history of the music industry, selling more than 800 million albums. All of the members were inducted into the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame.
John Lennon And Yoko Ono
Nothing is more groovy than love and peace. It is something that Yoko Ono and John Lennon sure knew. This photo was taken when they were honeymooning in Amsterdam during the time when they famously did their in-bed protest against the war in Vietnam. They were planning to have another “in-bed” protest in the United States but they were barred from entering the country at the time. Instead, they did the said protest in Montreal, Canada. John Lennon had a very productive solo career after The Beatles disbanded.
