Peggy Dow (91 Years Old)
Peggy Josephin Varnadow, or more popularly known as Peggy Dow, is a philanthropist and former actress. Before she pursued a career in the film industry, she briefly worked for the radio and modeled. She signed a contract with Universal and made her debut in 1949. However, she quit three years later to marry Walter Helmerich III, from the drilling company Helmerich & Payne. They were together for six decades until his passing in 2012.

In 1950, the movie Sunset Boulevard was released to critical acclaim. It was nominated for multiple awards at different award-giving bodies. Nancy Olson’s performance in the film earned her a nomination for Best Supporting Actress from the academy. She also appeared in The Absent-Minded Professor, Son of Flubber, and Airport 1975. She retired early even though she could have had a long, successful career in acting. She did return to acting a few times, though. She was in one episode of Big Love in 2010 and the 2014 movie Dumbbells. A Democrat, Olson has donated money to the party multiple times.
