The FBI was there monitoring every step of the way that the singer was creating. They keep an eye on him including his frequent rendezvous with Anthony and Vito Giacalone who are known to be mobsters in Detroit. Whereas, the FBI tried to collect evidence against Frank. This evidence didn’t look great for the part of the singer Frank Sinatra.

The retired FBI agent, Sam Ruffino, shared that it was not easy for them to track every move that Sinatra was making. As he recalls, he said, “It was like clockwork”. Wherein there would be some instances a few times in a year that they would trail the Giacalone’s to the airport where they would pick up Frank and they would usually spend some time, mostly the weekends, together socializing and talking about random stuff every after Frank’s shows.
