Jimi Hendrix was a well-known singer and guitarist who was liked by his fans. He had more fans than he could have ever imagined. It was a dream come true. Nonetheless, in 1970, he overdosed and died. This is one of his last photographs, and it depicts him in a carefree state of mind.

Constructing A Monumental Statue
The Statue of Liberty was being built at the time of this photograph, which was taken at the start of the construction process. The first stone was laid on October 28th, 1886, and it took two years to finish the project. It was a gift from the French to the Americans to commemorate the alliance between the two countries.
