The location of this secret airbase in the middle of the Pacific Ocean remains unknown. People back then had no idea what secret bases were or how large they were, and it is clear from this photo that it was a vast base at the time.

Is it possible that this is yet another UFO crash site? Another unexplained item landed near Roswell, and all that was left was a smattering of unrecognizable scrap metal.
