In Ukraine, dark hair is seen as attractive with very developed cheekbones, as much as we think blonde hair and blue eyes are the reverse. The beauty model values slender and pale women, but before the 20th century, chubby women were admired and valued as the ideal. They prefer a look that is normal and does not expect women to look like models. Ukraine does not respect a fake look or a synthetic look.

Peru celebrates its indigenous people’s beauty just as Chile does, but this is not what their ideal is what wealth admires and identifies with the Western view of beauty. The standard of beauty values a western look with tall, skinny women’s blonde hair and blue eyes. They fear the idea of darkening their skin, and many of those who work outdoors cover up from head to toe to prevent darkening melanin from developing, showing a multitude of cultures in Peru and distinct roots.
