Peter Freuchen

The Thule Expeditions, which traversed more than 600 miles of arctic ice to demonstrate how a channel separated Peary Land from Greenland, are the most well-known explorations by Danish explorer Peter Freuchen. Fecuchen and his companion, Knud Rasmussen, disproved the assertion made by explorer Robert Peary.
