In China, an agri-food company recycled olive oil that had previously been used in restaurants. Filtering and reselling the water was their method of recycling. Almost 2,000 tons of olive oil were sold to restaurants across the country, according to Voyage-Chine.

It’s understandable why tilapia is such a popular fish in China. This fish is one of the lowest forms of fish accessible today, despite being produced in the same way as cod. Its omnivorous diet, which includes waterborne toxins and poisons, makes it exceptionally dangerous.
