Shortly after she entered the dance floor, she was once again confronted with Ann from the entrance. Ann quickly grabbed her off the dance floor and told her about the complaints she was recieveing from the male chaperones. She explained that her dress and dance moves were triggering immoral thoughts.

This was another way for Ann to say “she asked for it.” She was blaming an innocent 17 year old for the gross and immature thoughts of the fathers at the dance. This was not her responsibility and she was motivated to see justice for herself and all the other girls in this situation.
