Elvis Presley Wasn’t Keen On Spending Nights Alone
Aside from being capable of rocking out like no other, the King was also known to be pretty gentle at times, particularly in his younger years. Many people believe that Elvis Presley wasn’t keen on spending nights alone. Some speculate that the reason he didn’t like being by himself while he slept was the difficulty he faced in dealing with his mother’s passing, which happened not long before he was stationed in Germany. Whatever the reason was, Elvis made sure there was someone by his side during the night but unfortunately for Priscilla, it wasn’t always her.
The Romantic Interests Of The King
During the time Presley was stationed in Germany, Priscilla, the daughter of an American Navy pilot, wasn’t the only lady he was romantically interested in. The international superstar appears to have wanted to get himself acquainted with the local culture as well. The King had a short-lived romance with the beautiful 19-year-old Elisabeth Stefaniak, a German young lady who had asked him for his autograph before he hired her to manage his fan mail. Their romance, however, ended when Presley went back to the states, and Mrs. Presley-to-be got back his attention.
