Elvis was very special because he didn’t just have a great voice, but also quite the moves! Many of you may not know this, but Elvis wasn’t always a great dancer, it came later in life. When he was just 10 years old, his teacher overheard him singing and persuaded him to sign up for the singing contest at the 1945 Mississippi-Alabama Fair and Dairy Show. In order to reach the microphone, Elvis had to stand on a chair! We guess his dance moves weren’t quite there, as he took home 5th place.
