Similar to many of the biggest stars in history, Elvis Presley really loved his fans a lot. According to Priscilla Presley, the King would sometimes wear a police officer costume to stop some vehicles on the road and hand the drivers a “ticket” – his own autograph. He also pulled several other stunts to give his loyal fans a surprise and remain in the limelight. It might be hard to believe but Presley received an actual badge later in life from someone you might least expect would give him one.

In 1970, Elvis Presley suddenly felt the urge to meet Richard Nixon, the president of America at the time. Nixon granted his offer, and Presley, bizarrely enough, asked for a federal narcotics badge during their meeting. Even more bizarrely, the President agreed to give it to him. Actually, the Rock ‘n’ Roll king also reached out to other presidents, not just the Republican, and you’ll soon learn that Elvis Presley didn’t seem to discriminate when it comes to political party.
