The Titles He Now Holds
While Prince Charles earned most of those titles upon the coronation of his mother, it is not true for each and every single one of them. Since 1301, there has been a Prince of Wales. No matter how many people have since received that title, this is not handed out to the heirs of the monarch automatically.
For The Male Heirs Only
In reality, this is a title that they reserve for the male heirs to the British monarch. This meant that during the rule of George VI, there had been no Prince of Wales. After all, he did not have a son, only daughters. Six years into the rule of Queen Elizabeth II, she gave her eldest son the title.
