Joe knew that the cost of living in New York was high. He tried his best to save money in any way that he could. This is why he got worried when he began having to shop more often. For some reason, the food in his pantry and fridge was gone quickly. He did not change anything in his routine, so there was no reason to eat more. There was another person living with him, though. And they could give him the answer.

Joe’s girlfriend, Lucy, recently moved in to his apartment. The two lovebirds were on cloud nine. This was a new chapter for them. However, the problem with the missing food was starting to gnaw at Joe. He was wondering why his girlfriend would take his food and why she didn’t just ask. He knew that he had to ask her about the missing food. Even though he didn’t want to offend her, he needed answers. It was, after all, his hard-earned wages that he used to buy more food. Aside from that, he was also saving for her engagement ring.
