Darren and Natalie had both been really close—they had a friendship with a father-daughter that any parent would admire. But Natalie’s actions started to improve after Pam had come into the picture, and they had all relocated into a new home. Darren knew Natalie would be willing to speak to him about whatever was on her mind. Yet, she has been increasingly distant over the span of a year. Darren chalked it up to puberty and decided not to let it affect him too much, but it just grew worse.

He was worried that she was alone in her room, wasting so much time. Darren had heard horror stories about teenagers on social media spending too much time. But as it turned out, the last thing he should have been worrying about was Natalie’s Facebook account.
