But most night seizures are tonic-clonic. Doctors used to call great-evil seizures tonic-clonic. They usually last less than 5 minutes. During this type of seizure, muscles stiffen and twitch — explaining what Darren saw on the footage. Natalie was prescribed anti-seizure medication and was fully recovered.
