While Prince Charles’ second wife Camilla Parker wore similar outfits to both royal weddings, Prince William and Prince Harry’s father wore noticeably different outfits on two of his sons’ most important days. Charles dressed up in his royal regalia for the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Prince Charles wore a simple grey suit to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding, which went well with Camilla’s light pink dress and hat.

It’s difficult to imagine how much pressure Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle were under as they walked down the aisle on their big days in front of the world. On her big day, the Duchess of Cambridge was accompanied by her father, Michael Middleton. Unfortunately, the Duchess of Sussex’s father was suffering from health issues during the month leading up to her wedding, preventing him from attending the big event in London. Meghan walked down the aisle on her own before being met halfway by Prince Charles.
