Before Meghan Markle, Prince Harry had a seven-year on-again, off-again relationship with Chelsy Davy, a Zimbabwean businesswoman. Chelsy was invited to both Prince William and Prince Harry’s weddings during their relationship, which lasted from 2004 to 2011. Harry and Chelsy had just broken up at the time of Prince William’s wedding. According to Parade magazine, the magnitude of the event drove a wedge between Harry and Chelsy, who realized royal life wasn’t for her.
