A Scene To Behold

He squeezed his ears as he put his nose on the ground. This was something Smith had never seen his dog do before, never like that. They had something huge to stumble into! Like a statue, his big paws were pressed into the soft soil.

What Kyle Saw

He felt compelled to see his dog focused so much on the tree, but he knew it was going to be a scourge. When his palms were clammy, he could feel his pulse race. Had he not seen it with his very own eyes, he would not have believed what he had stumbled upon.

Something Was Wrong

They were walking with Kyle every other day before they knew something was wrong with him. He was strange; he was nervous, sniffing intentionally around, perhaps old reflexes from his days as a service animal?

His Changed Behavior

They thought there was something really wrong since Kyle’s behavior had changed instantaneously. He was all okay before they went out and all of a sudden, he changed. What could be the reason for this?

Kyle Wasn’t Done Yet

Nonetheless, something was wrong. Kyle had been to two other families before the Smiths. The last two lasted only for a short time because he hadn’t resigned as a police dog and had to fight more crime. Kyle certainly didn’t do his detective work.

Not Yet Over It

We can’t really blame Kyle, given that it’s had been his life way before he was adopted by the kind families who decided to take him in. It’s hard to get over or completely move forward from something you’ve been used to do all your life and trained to do so as well.

Gentle Soul

Kyle’s strengths were in the data collection with all his police experience. He’s been a real detective. But it wasn’t in his character when it became necessary to be violent. He would still be protecting his new family from any officers he was with, and now, if he wanted to.

A New Partner

Once Kyle had his new partner, Officer John, his training was taken up, and he quickly learned to be more physical when the situation was necessary. He would also use his life to protect his new partner. His new partner has certainly pushed him to his best. There is no doubt.

Service Dog

It’s really touching to think that certain animals are much ready to sacrifice their lives for people they adore, a perfect example of that is Kyle. Although we all know that service dogs are trained that way, it’s still amazing to think that they are capable of doing such a thing.

A Great Duo

Service dogs would normally patrol with a few officials, but Kyle did to Officer John to respond to others. The two created a fantastic team and shared a special relationship. John took Kyle, so both of them had a constant duty.

Their Relationship

It’s not really surprising to hear and know that Kyle doesn’t act the way he did to his former partner to other people he’s with. That’s understandable given that he’s used to having his buddy next to him most of the time and speech so much time together solving crimes.

Parting Ways

When Kyle’s time on the force ended, John wanted to keep him, but he could not take care of him when he was on duty. He wanted to do what was best for that dog, so he let the Smiths adopt him. However, Officer John certainly felt sad to be away with his partner.

It Won’t Be The Same

We all know that parting ways with someone whom you cherished and been with for a long time would definitely be a heartbreaking moment for anyone. It’s the same with Kyle and his partner. He must be feeling sad that his partner would be away since then.

Every Dog’s Dream

Kyle and the Smith family form a bond by taking a stroll. They eventually did a lot more exercise than they did before. They walked in the hills regularly until one day. Their house had a large forest in the countryside.

Having Fun With New Family

Even though Kyle and his partner have to be away from each other for certain reasons, the family that adopted Kyle gave him the love and support he needed just like how his partner did.

An Unexpected Discovery

It was a huge benefit for Kyle that every normal dog was rampant in the woods after all sorts of animals. But Kyle found something else. What was it that Kyle discovered? We’re about to find out, no matter how big it might be!

A Drastic Change

As usual, they started their journey, and Kyle bordered them. The day started. They walked along the way they always had, and then Kyle asked to go a new way. The family knew that the dog was actually strangely behaving.

Not His Usual Self

The family was wondering why Kyle suggested a new route for their activity. they thought that Kyle was not acting as usual and there might be something wrong. Nonetheless, they still went after and followed his lead not knowing where he will lead them.

Acting Odd

For so long, Kyle had never been out of town. He enjoyed his daily walks in the woods with his new family, but today there was something different, something they hadn’t expected. It was like a switch had been flipped, and as a whole, Kyle had started to change!

Strange Behavior

After a while, Kyle started acting oddly. He became quiet and stopped eating. He was satisfied with the trip, nevertheless, with his tail wagging and bounding in the woods. When he was still in service, they could see that he must have been this.

Old Habits

His old reflexes from his police days kicked in as he began to bury his nose in the dirt, following a trail only recognizable to him. The family was trying to call him back to the trail, but maybe too much of the fragrance attracted his attention.

Service Dog On Duty

Definitely, this kind of behavior that Kyle was trained for before to become a service dog will never go away. It’s only natural for him to act in such a way whenever something catches his attention.

Finding The Scent

It was not unusual for a dog to sometimes snap the ground on walks. Kyle often saw wildlife of all kinds when they went on their way. Someone’s old clothes he also noticed once. If Kyle had something to hide from this secret trial, he’d check it out.

But the fragrance he recognized this time seemed nervous, which had never before been seen by the family. They had to continue now that they were invested. It certainly was a serious thing, whatever Kyle found, because it made him come back to his old ways.

It was definitely something serious with the way Kyle was acting. He wouldn’t act that way if it was not something to be concerned about given that he was trained to act that way if he senses a threat near him.

What Is It?

Again, Smith called him, but that didn’t work. Rather, Kyle lay down, frozen. Thus he called John, a former partner of Kyle, as Smith didn’t know what to do. John explained that Kyle would know what to do if he took a fragrance from the ordinary or posed a risk.

Are They In Danger?

Officer John knew that Kyle would not act the way he was acting that moment for nothing. He was sure that Kyle was figuring something out and was on service duty mode. It’s something they all can’t prevent from happening.

Approaching The Tree

He was certain that Kyle would deal with how Officer John was trained to act in such scenarios. It was told Smith to look at the tree, but be careful as it could be dangerous. “Are they drugs?” Smith thought. No, what he was about to see was far worse than that.

Smith noticed the bark being loose as he approached the tree. Kyle started to bark loudly. Motivated, Smith braced and peeled it, exposing the hollow inside the oak. Suddenly he focused his eyes and jumped up after looking into the darkness. However, it wasn’t drugs.

Waiting For The Next Move

Kyle was highly alert when he waited for any follow-up orders when he realized they didn’t deal with drugs. Both Smith and Kyle did not know what to do next, but that didn’t mean they would have to leave the area straight away.

Kyle On Duty

Kyle was right. He found something that needs to be seen by the law enforcement officers. Smith knew exactly who to call at a situation like this one. It was indeed something that needs his attention.

Calling Backup

Without hesitation, Smith pulled his phone off and shakily dialed John’s number to the only person he could think of reporting it. He explained exactly what Kyle had found with his voice trembling in this old oak.

It Left Them Reeling

Before they ran off, John, deeply troubled and completely unbelieving, hurried to gather forensics experts. He knew they needed help to confirm what they just saw.

They Were In Disbelief

It was clear from Smith’s conversation with John that Kyle was dealing with something he hadn’t addressed before, so Smith knew that he must be on the stage as soon as possible, so he could immediately help them.

For John, it took much longer than he realized the journey down to Kyle’s new home. They were still driving after two hours on the road. John was so busy with work that he didn’t see Kyle after the Smiths had taken him.

A Closer Look

Kyle led them to a human skeleton stashed inside a tree. It was so packed inside the tree that they had to cut it down to determine what it was about carefully. Certainly, they were surprised at what Kyle had found out.

Back To His Usual Self

Smith was surprised how vibrant Kyle was as her work continued. It was as though he had returned to his normal self. Smith noted how much Kyle loved John. But new information was unfolding as he watched Kyle.

Out Of His Depth

After he found the remains stuck in the hollow oak, he felt out of his element. He started talking and ready to notify his chief policeman so that he might send out further reinforcements. But someone stopped him just before he was able to catch the station.

Where The Skeleton Came From

Before making the call, he was stopped by the forensic experts. And it was a good thing what they did. They unpacked their tools and started inspecting the skeleton, where the skeleton came from.

Investigation

It usually takes at least a week for forensic investigators to determine who is left and where or where. They stopped John from calling because what they found was that no further investigation is needed in this case. They had everything they wanted already.

False Alarm

They saw a life-size human skeleton, but it was also fake. Someone must have planted it in the tree’s bark and forgotten it as a scare or prank for Halloween. They laugh in relief, but why Kyle would warn them about a situation like this is what they can’t understand.

A Sudden Realization

They were sure that Kyle was taught to differentiate the smell of non-threatening and menacing objects, which is why they were puzzled about why he acted as such. But then they realized something that clicked all of a sudden!

What’s The Reason?

They were all curious and wondering what was the reason why Kyle did such a thing. Since he was trained, why couldn’t he realize or figure out that what they found was not something that can cause harm or dangerous?

The one that put together two and two was Smith. Kyle just wanted to see John, he remembered. In his recent actions, his best friend and former partner were missing. There was a sign of loneliness. He knew that John would run after his actions by the police.

This was something that they have been doing long before the Smiths adopted him. He did know that Officer John would come in the area if he ever found out something that needed his attention, just like the old days.

Perhaps he did it because of that. Was it a setup? Since John arrived, Kyle has been staring at him. Clearly, John is so missed by Kyle. Everything was done so that John’s attention would be received and that he would pay a visit.

It’s not impossible that the reason why Kyle did such a thing is because he wanted to see his old friend. It’s truly understandable. They have spent so many years together doing suhch a thing after all.

Realization

His ex-partner, who has always jumped enthusiastically, licked his hands and thighed. Then it dawned on him that the skeleton was never. John remembered that all his years of working together had been one fast and silly way to get his attention.

He was certainly happy that his former partner went to meet him again for such a long time. It’s also true that they are both delighted to have worked on a case for another time, just as they did.

No matter the happiness of the pair, the day has to come to an end. Even if it’s sad, the two had to say goodbye to each other again. However, unlike in the past, they have a promise to keep, which they will see each other every time they can.

When she was a month old, she visited Bunny and let her sleep on her lap for 2 hours.

As she was still young, Alexis began teaching concepts to Bunny. One night, after getting a tattoo done, she went home. Bunny was curious about it. You can tell that she was slightly worried, but that she could not express it. Good thing, the owner has a button programmed and ‘Ouch’ pressed. Since then, she has been pressing ‘ouch’ every time they get injuries.

Alexis Devine, like several committed dog owners, spends hours each day talking to her dog, Bunny, in her living room. The strange thing is that Bunny is back “talking”. Some concepts are easier to model than others, so she had to be imaginative, Devine said. Devine has to model how they are used in speech in order to teach different words to Bunny. For instance, Devine said she would push the “outside,” button when Bunny was still learning the word “outside” and say the word until she let her out.

Putting puzzle pieces together

“If I understand precisely well how to model those words, it would be simpler for her to understand them, but it’s kind of putting puzzle pieces together, and without having experience in anything really similar to all of this, I’m kind of just making it all up as I go,” she said.
