If you’re starting to move your patio furniture back outside after it’s been sitting in your garage all winter, wipe it down with a water and baking soda mixture and a clean cloth. If the furniture smells a bit, sprinkle baking soda on it and let it sit for a while before gently vacuuming it off.

Washing Machine
If your clothes are coming out of the washing machine and not smelling as fresh as they should, it maybe time to clean the machine. Especially if you have a front-load washer, you may need to clean it more often than you think. To get your washer clean with minimal effort or money, run an empty load on the hottest setting, and add baking soda and vinegar to get rid of any unwanted smells or mold.
