The “Lost Negatives” of Ansel Adams

In Fresno, a small box of 6.5 by 8.5 glass plate negatives of Yosemite and San Francisco were discovered by a painter. For four years, he had the box stowed below a table. He only realized just how valuable its contents might be later on. It is said that the glass pates were actually photo negatives by Ansel Adams! He was an American photographer who shot gorgeous landscapes across the country. The photos are worth $200 million. Sadly, it morphed into a nasty court battle as the painter sued his lawyer for keeping the profits from the print sales, but he was himself sued for trademark infringement from the sale!

If you ask us, there is something unbelievable about finding autographed CDs in thrift stores. We wonder if an emo kid had an argument with his mother about the cleanliness of his room. Perhaps she ended up unwittingly packing up his things and putting them in a bag that she sent to Goodwill. Weezer is an American rock band whose collectibles have more sentimental value than anything else. This will probably go for $150 to $200, which is still a decent profit if you bought it for 99 cents. In our opinion, it would be worth the time and effort you spent going through the box of CDs there.
