Looooong before his stint in Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles as a curator, Hammond notably portrayed the one and only Friedrich von Trapp in The Sound of Music and Peter Parker “Spider-Man” on the television series The Amazing Spider-Man. He officially retired from acting in 2016.
