Her trainer pal had lost all faith in her and had ordered her to leave her home immediately. However her former buddy didn’t fall for it, Anna left her laptop behind at the apartment, which could have been a ruse to try to come back and stay, though she did leave it at the front desk for her to pick up. When Anna returned to the building to collect her laptop, she remained in the lobby, yelling for her trainer friend to come visit her. She would wait until she arrived before continuing. Anna didn’t get the chance to face her ex-friend, and she was completely befuddled. As a result, she was unable to find a motel that would accommodate her and even resorted to asking one of her attorneys to accommodate her at his home, which he denied. The lawyer had a strong suspicion that something was seriously wrong here, so he reached out to Anna’s trainer. She invited Anna to join her for dinner at a restaurant, but Anna was completely unaware of the surprise that was in store for her. All of the persons to whom she owed money were brought into the room.

The stern group intervention served as a foreshadowing of the situation Anna was about to find herself in. She stole tens of thousands of dollars from her ‘colleagues’ and ‘friends,’ and they were all curious as to where she had hidden the money. She said that once the lease for the Foundation she hoped to establish was signed, she would have enough money to pay off all of her debts and pay off all of her creditors. They, on the other hand, saw right through it. During this time, the group informed her that the facility was being used by another party. She continued to invent justifications and rationalizations for her actions. This was something they weren’t going to buy any longer.
