Anna did not comply with the hotel’s demands, and as a result, she was locked out of her room when the code was changed. Anna was enraged, claiming that she was being treated like a commoner and that she did not deserve such treatment. Then she revealed a trick she learned from Martin Shkreli. She retaliated by threatening everyone who worked at the hotel and managed the establishment, saying she would buy the website domains for each of their names and they would have to pay her to get them back. While that treat steeped, she jetted off to Morocco with a personal trainer friend and videographer Rachel Williams.

The journey was anything but smooth. The trainer became very ill from food poisoning and decided to return to the United States early. The trainer then received a call from Anna, who was upset and distraught because her credit card was no longer working. The manager of the hotel where she was staying threatened to call the cops, and she begged her trainer friend to let her use her credit card. This one didn’t go through, and another didn’t either, so the hotel assumed the problem was theirs rather than the cards’. Anna found another hotel to live in when she returned to the United States. A pattern was beginning to emerge, as she still couldn’t provide a working credit card and ended up in over $11,000 debt in this new place. Her belongings were taken from her and she was evicted. Things were becoming more serious. When she went to another hotel, the same thing happened, but this time she was thrown out after only a few days. She begged her trainer friend to stay at her house out of desperation, and she agreed. If you’re wondering how she ended up paying for the Moroccan hotel, it was because her videographer friend charged the whopping $62,000 bill to her American Express credit card. This was the point at which Anna began to lose touch with her friends.
