Illegal To Endanger It
The timber wolf is listed as endangered on the Federal Endangered Species List. The fact that it was endangered means that it is in danger of extinction! Furthermore, in the state of Wisconsin, it was against the law to slaughter it. It was difficult to shoot the animal because doing so would result in jail time if the perpetrators were caught.
There is just one thing that has to be done in this situation. It was dangerous for John to have to let the animal go, but he felt it was the proper thing to do in the situation. Even more apprehensive and terrified than the wolf, he was! Both John and the wolf exchanged glances, and it is clear that the two were already wishing for the contest to come to a conclusion. The question is whether or not John is certain that this was a timber wolf.
Coyote Or Wolf
Many people are unable to tell the difference between a coyote and a wolf when they see one. Although the wolves appear to be identical on the outside, they are typically much larger on the inside. They are the same color and have the same type of fur. If you look at them from a distance, you might even think they are dogs! It’s possible that John misread the situation with these animals.
This question was posed to him by one of his friends. They began to question if it was a coyote or a wolf. The companions began to have a conversation with one another. They needed to discover out what kind of animal it was before they could decide what to do. Because of the patterns and markings on the animal, John was eventually convinced that it was a timber wolf.
