It was only after they watched the tape that they realized what the wolf had been up to all this time. Before sprinting out into the woods, it paused for a while to examine John. Nobody knows whether it is making an attempt to thank John or simply communicate gratitude.

John was not aware of the pause when it occurred, despite the fact that the video provided him with the evidence he required. It was fortunate for him that he ended up making the proper decision. He was relieved to discover that the wolf was still alive and well.

As a result of this incident, when John freed the Timber wolf from the trap, it became clear how John felt towards timberwolves. He now realized that they may be just as irritating as any other coyotes that wandered through the woods.

Timberwolves are known for their predation on wild animals and livestock, which may result in them becoming their dinner. There are occasions when they do it in order to upset and frighten the animals. John was already aware of this because he was familiar with a number of instances in which wolves had attacked domestic animals. He, on the other hand, was cognizant of the fact that he was in wolf territory.
