What Bach Really Looked Like
His likeness was recreated by Dr. Caroline Wilkinson using a cast of his skull. Bach spent some time in an unmarked grave. The church where he was interred was being renovated when they only discovered the body an additional 150 years later. They spotted a skull and believed it to be his. The project’s output is shown in the image below.

Venezuelan military leader Simon Bolivar played a key role in the revolt against Spain. He was raised in a prosperous family and went to school in Spain. He joined the resistance while he was in Europe. He was known as “El Libertador” when France invaded Spain. His death was caused by tuberculosis.
