Emily Dickinson
Emily Dickinson is one of the most famous poets from the US. Born in Massachusetts in 1830, she went to an all-girls school. She had an isolated childhood, and things did not change for her as an adult. She died in 1886. It was only four years later that her works received the acclaim it deserved.
