Dante Alighieri
Dante Alighieri was the man who wrote The Divine Comedy. During the late Middle Ages, he was considered to be one of the most influential poets in Italy. His writings described Hell and Heaven, and some of the things he wrote are now common Christian establishments. Apart from his poetry, he was a respected philosopher whose ideas continue to be relevant. He died in 1321 at the age of 56.

There are many portraits of him, and they mostly agree on what he looked like. The general consensus seems to be that he had a stern face and an aquiline nose. This helped the team work on this CGI rendering of the author. Aside from that, they used measurements of his skull. Compared to portraits of him, the rendering showed that he had bigger eyes, a rounded jaw, and a softer facial expression.
