Teaching A Lesson
The judge has a different approach in teaching Shena Hardin a lesson. The judge knew that the fine and suspension of her license are clearly not enough since she might end up doing the same once she gets her license once again. Which is why she added another consequence. She ordered Shena to put up a sign on the corner where the kids are waiting for their school bus which says: “Only an idiot would drive on the sidewalk to avoid a school bus.”

Shena was paying for the atrocities that she committed. Aside from the fine and her license suspension, she was asked to stand on the corner where the kids wait and hold up a sign. She was instructed to do it for an hour on Tuesday and another hour for the next day. It is usually an easy task if the weather is good. But it was very cold outside due to the temperature dropping to 34 degrees. She was instructed to do this to inform others of what she did.
