This biopic was adapted from a play of the same name. The movie is pretty much a retelling of the interviews that talk show host David Frost had with President Nixon. Both the movie and the play lean on the interviews as a backbone to the stories. At the end of the day, the movie was nominated for dozens of awards.

Raging Bull
Robert De Niro plays the lead in this cinematic masterpiece. The movie tells Jake LaMotta’s life story. He was a legendary boxer who had a temper that got him into plenty of trouble. This film was adapted from the boxer’s autobiography titled: Raging Bull: My Story. In fact, the real LaMotta met De Niro and boxed with him to prepare him for the role.
