Industrialization has many advantages. It can make a country’s technology more advanced, create a stronger economy, and ultimately, make highly-populated cities. However, it has its own drawbacks like increased carbon emissions, pollution, and many other negative effects will occur. One perfect example of the bad effects of industrialization is the Ganges River in India. It has joined the list of the world’s most dangerous rivers to swim in. Just like in most cases, industrialization in India has occurred very quickly that there were no regulations in place to avoid pollution. This resulted in the pollution of the river. In other countries, similar things have happened and they could not save their bodies of water from plastic, trash, and pretty much all the waste products of humanity.
