Lake Victoria

This lake is the largest lake in Africa and it ranks as the third largest lake in the whole world. There are some parts of this lake, however, that you might want to avoid. What makes this lake very dangerous is because of the high number of deaths that occur in it every year. So far, the number has reached to approximately 5,000. Pretty high, right? The lake is dangerous mainly because it has its own weather system. This is why the weather in the lake can easily change from calm and sunny to horrible and stormy in a matter of seconds. If you happened to be swimming in the lake when such change occurs, then you might not all get out of it alive.
