Lake Kivu

Rwanda’s history is pretty sordid, having been torn into different groups competing for the controlling power in the early 19th century as well as the mid-19th century. However, it is not the only thing that you might find sordid. It also has Lake Kivu, one of the world’s most dangerous lakes. This is another case where looks can be deceiving, leading us into dangerous situations. The lake is also known as an “exploding” lake, which means that it can literally erupt, occasionally. This is all due to the fact that it has unstable ground caused by a volcano nearby. Sadly, an eruption from the lake could release a lot of carbon dioxide in the air which is, to be very blunt, extremely deadly.

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Myrtle Beach, in general, is just one of those regular beaches that we can swim in. However, it can occasionally turn deadly due to its rip tides. On some unfortunate days, these rip tides can cause trouble for those who are caught by them. The danger can increase two-fold when the strong rip tides also have warm-water cannonball jellyfish in them. This type of jellyfish is extremely dangerous as it can cause paralysis to the person it stings in the water. While a person can survive either one of them, the combination of the two can create a certain danger that will easily result drowning.
