The wait is finally over.
Katie had hoped for a daughter for so long that she felt so successful when she eventually had her two daughters. She cradled one baby in her arms and brought her close to her chest, just as she had indicated before the delivery, while she muttered, “It feels so right.” Katie was overcome with emotion because she had been waiting for so long. As she hugged her baby, tears streamed down her cheeks.
