When NewsChannel 5 interviewed him, Chase said he did not intervene for clout. When he saw what the old man was doing to her, something just snapped inside of him. “I was going to wait for something to say until the end of the flight, but I couldn’t have this guy sit next to her on this whole flight and think he’s making fun of her,” he shared. He continued, “It really gets to me deep down when I see someone crying, and it really hit me hard when I saw her crying, and I actually got sick to my stomach.”
