You Worry A Lot
A study in which scientists asked 126 students to fill out questionnaires about how often they feel worried. Or how often they think about their worrying situations. In the other intelligence tests, kids who worried more than the rest got more points. Scientists concluded that those more concerned tend to work more thoroughly, leading to better results. In fact, somehow, people who are more anxious overall may be smarter than others.
Easily Distracted
We have good news if you happen to be someone who gets distracted by all kinds of things, such as notifications, tea or coffee breaks, or even in the middle of discussions. Maybe you’re smarter than others. Scientists say so, at least. The more difficult it is for someone to remain focused, the smarter they actually are, according to a new study. It’s explained that keeping high levels of brain activity under control is more difficult.
