The fact that we have an entire china cabinet full of dishes that we never use is one thing; however, having an entire china cabinet full of dishes that we never use is something else entirely. Everyone agreed that keeping our words was not a terrible thing, but we should utilize such utensils if we were planning to serve a big group of people at the same time.

Wall To Wall Carpeting
If we were to carpet the entire space, there would be a slew of difficulties. It has the potential to produce allergic responses in certain people, and it is more difficult to maintain than hardwood or laminate flooring, for example. The rugs were necessary to protect the hardwood floors, but we were able to switch around the color schemes and the rugs without having to work around the carpeting.
