What we have learned so far is that the funniest headstones are the ones pointing out the obvious. We all know that it is only a matter of time before we meet our doom. Death comes for every single one of us in the end. Even though this is clear to everyone, there is something funny about imagining a person in the afterlife having these thoughts. We are sure that George was glad to be able to say, “I knew it.”

In case you are not familiar with this guy, Leslie Nielson was an actor-comedian who starred in The Naked Gun, Airplane!, and The Police Squad! He was known as a practical joker who liked to prank others with a fart machine. In 2018, he died in his sleep after contracting pneumonia. He was interred at the Evergreen Cemetery at Fort Lauderdale. Before he was laid to rest, he decided to give one last joke on his epitaph.
