A Jewish refugee, Henry Kissinger fled Nazi Germany. He moved to the US with his family. He had a career in politics and diplomacy and was even the advisor of President Nixon and President Ford. Kissinger is a Nobel Peace Prize awardee, but the public didn’t seem to think that he deserved it. There were claims that he didn’t negotiate with Vietnam successfully. When it was discovered that the claims were right, he returned his award. He was well-known for being a political scientist and diplomat as well. He was also knowledgeable.

Jimmy Carter (94 Years Old)

The 39th POTUS, Jimmy Carter, is a Georgia native who had served the Navy and worked on submarines. He has expressed strong opposition to racial segregation and was actually inspired to support the Civil Rights Movement. It was in 1977 when he became President. During his term, the departments of energy and education were established. From a career in politics, he switched to supporting charitable causes. To this day, he still champions for civil rights through the Carter Center.
