The goal set forth for this film was to make its viewers scream and to make its viewers laugh, and they accomplished both of those tasks. This sequel to the 1981 classic film shows Bruce Campbell being in a very serious light, as he’s covered in guts.

This movie, which is loved by nearly everyone who has ever seen it, was nominated for a whopping 14 Academy Awards and won 11 Oscars! Even though it likely will not hold all of its records forever, it will always be the first movie to make over $1 billion.
