The Peruvian Hairless came from Peru and had an average price of $3,000. It could easily be recognized because of its hairless body, but there were times when it had scattered strands on top of its head. The Peruvian Hairless was small in size and had been around for centuries. It was initially been bred during the pre-Inca times and gradually increased in popularity in the Incan Dynasty. The dogs had been portrayed as lovable companions on Andean ceramic and Moche vessels. It was rumored that the Peruvian Hairless could heal arthritis.

Akita
The Akita originated from Northern Japan’s mountainous regions and could cost as high as $4,500. The dog breed also had two varieties, and the first one was the Japanese Akita while the other one was the American Akita. Both breeds were large in the frame, and the males could weigh up to 130 pounds. The Akita was bred as a guard dog to be in charge of protecting not just the Japanese royal family but also the other nobles. The dog breed could also hunt black bear, wild boar, and enormous deer.
