Director Jacqueline Joseph collected a group of the greatest athletes across many sports and created a documentary called “Winning”. The 2016 work about troubles and triumphs included: Tennis star Martina Navratilova, golf legend Jack Nicklaus, track and field great Edwin Moses, Dutch Paralympian Esther Vergeer and Nadia Comaneci.

Visiting The White House
In 2014, Nadia and her husband, Bart enjoyed a warm welcome at the White House from President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle. Since it was only a few months before the Special Olympics, their visit garnered a great amount of public attention.
